KEY LARGO FOOD AND WINE FESTIVAL WAS A SUCCESS!!
August 1-9, 2008
Over 1800 people attended and the positive feedback which we have received has been that it was an outstanding event.
The progressive dining event was particularly well received.
Many participates could not accommodate all of the patrons wanting to wine and dine. Clearly, it will be important to make your reservations as early as possible next year.
Thank you Premiere Wine for your sponsorship and support. All enjoyed the various wine tasting opportunities.
UKBG also thanks it’s Events Committee which was co-chaired by Narelle Prew and Robert DiGiorgio, member Sue Finney for all of her efforts, Bob Stoky for all his coordination and support, all participating members, and the Key Largo Chamber of Commerce for handling visitor inquiries and disseminating our festival information.
If you would like to become a part of this wonderful event next year, please contact UKBG Events Committee and join the party!

PIRATE FESTIVAL
October 17- 19, 2008
Focusing on the Life and Times of "Black Caesar," Key Largo's most famous pirate, this event is 3days of fun, food, music, and events designed to keep participants, vendors, guests, and visitors in Key Largo during what is typically a slow time for the Upper Keys. This event features Black Caesar costume contests, choreographed skits, an "on the bay" concert, an underwater pirates poker tournament, Pirates Bazaar, and a by land or sea booty hunt throughout Key Largo. If you are interested in participating in this event please contact event chairperson Sue Finney at 305.394.3736.
